Joined Sessions from the Hearth in 1999 on bouzouki. Alan along with Benny O'Carroll and Elaine Hogan provide the accompaniment which defines the true sound of the group. His Knowledge of the instrument and music is a very welcome addition to Sessions from the Hearth. He is from Cavan, Ireland and tours extensively.
